Questions
Good to know.
Who can buy tickets?
Anyone 19 or older who is physically located in British Columbia at the time of purchase. You don’t need to be a BC resident to win, but you do need to be in BC when you buy.
How is the winner drawn?
Winners are chosen by electronic draw through RaffleNexus, using a random number generator certified by BC’s Independent Gambling Control Office. The final draw takes place April 28, 2027 at 6:00 PM at Kelly O’Bryan’s in Westbank, BC.
Who can I bring?
The prize is for the winner and one hunting companion of the winner’s choice. You hunt together, and each of you receives a travel allowance, a $2,500 gear gift card and a trophy shipping allowance.
What isn’t included?
The outfitter covers everything from pickup in Taloyoak. Travel to Taloyoak, hotels and meals before and after the hunt, and trophy crating and shipping are not included by the outfitter. That’s why the prize includes $3,000 per hunter for travel and $1,500 per hunter for shipping. Meat coolers and any costs beyond the allowances are the hunters’ responsibility.
Can I give or sell the hunt to someone else?
No. The hunt is awarded to the named winner and can’t be sold, auctioned, gifted or transferred. If the winner is unable to attend, H4BC may offer a cash prize instead.
Do I need to be at the draw?
No. Winners will be contacted using the details given when the tickets were bought, and results will be posted here.
