Who’s your hunt buddy?

The winner picks one hunting companion, and both of you get the full treatment: your own travel allowance, your own $2,500 gear card and your own trophy shipping.

Already know who you’d take? Go in together on the Hunt Buddy Pack: 75 tickets for $500, or $250 each. It’s our best value at $6.67 a ticket.

Early Bird Prizes

Three $500 gear cards, drawn along the way.

Every ticket bought before 5:00 PM on an early bird draw day is entered in that draw and every one after it, plus the grand prize. Draws are at 6:00 PM at Kelly O’Bryan’s, Westbank. Win an early bird and you’re still in the running for the hunt.

Prize Conditions

The fine print, in plain words.

Can I give or sell the hunt to someone else?

No. The hunt is awarded to the named winner and can’t be sold, auctioned, gifted or transferred. The winner chooses their own hunting companion.

What if I can’t make my hunt dates?

You can move to the other season (September 2027 or March–April 2028), subject to the outfitter’s availability. If the winner is unable to attend either season, H4BC may offer a cash prize in place of the hunt.

What happens if travel costs more than the allowance?

Each hunter gets $3,000 for travel and $1,500 for trophy shipping. Anything above those amounts, along with meat coolers and taxidermy, is the hunters’ responsibility.

We bought the Hunt Buddy Pack together. Who wins?

Tickets are issued to the person who buys them, and the prize is awarded to that ticket holder. If you’re splitting a package, agree between yourselves before you buy, including who will be the winner and who will be the companion.

Are the values in US or Canadian dollars?

Canadian. The outfitter prices the hunt in US dollars (US$12,500 per hunter plus a 10% gratuity), converted at approximately 1.4.

Total value of all prizes: $54,000. Chances are 1 in 13,436 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize in each draw; actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold. Full Rules of Play.
