Rules of Play

BC Gaming Event Licence #177246, issued to H4BC Hunt.Gather.Conserve. Society by BC’s Independent Gambling Control Office.

1. Who can buy

  • Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. You must be physically located in BC at the time of purchase.
  • Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
  • The ticket site verifies your physical location using geo-location (IP address and/or GPS). Don’t use a VPN, proxy or other method to disguise your location. Any ticket bought while outside British Columbia is void and not eligible for any prize.
  • No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of H4BC Hunt.Gather.Conserve. Society or by employees involved with the conduct and management of this raffle.

2. Tickets

A maximum of 13,436 tickets will be sold, in these packages:

  • Tickets are sold online only, through RaffleNexus at tickets.northiscalling.ca, from October 17, 2026 to April 28, 2027. Each package size may sell out before the end of the raffle.
  • Ticket numbers are computer-generated in ascending order starting at a pre-determined number. Specific ticket numbers can’t be requested.
  • Your receipt and official tickets are emailed to you. To look up an order or add tickets to it, use Manage Order.
  • Tickets are issued to, and prizes are awarded to, the person named on the ticket.
  • Ticket purchases are also subject to the RaffleNexus Terms of Use and RaffleNexus Privacy Policy. See also our Privacy Policy.

3. Prizes

Total value of all prizes: $54,000. One grand prize and three early bird prizes. Full details are on the Prize page.

  • Grand prize ($52,500): a 5-day guided muskox hunt for the winner and one companion with Canadian High Arctic Adventures, Taloyoak, Nunavut, with a 10% guide gratuity, a $3,000 travel allowance per hunter, a $2,500 Corlane Sporting Goods gift card per hunter and a $1,500 trophy crating and shipping allowance per hunter. Hunt dates: September 2027 or March–April 2028.
  • Early bird prizes ($500 each): three $500 Corlane Sporting Goods gift cards.
  • The grand prize is non-transferable and may not be sold, auctioned or transferred to another person. If the winner is unable to attend, H4BC may offer a cash prize in place of the hunt.

  • All draws are held at Kelly O’Bryan’s Restaurant, 3470 Carrington Road, Westbank, BC.
  • Every ticket bought before an early bird deadline is entered in that early bird draw, every early bird draw after it, and the grand prize draw. Early bird winning tickets remain eligible for later draws.
  • Winning tickets are drawn using Random Number Generator (RNG) software.
  • All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draws.
  • Winners are posted online at tickets.northiscalling.ca/winners on each draw date.

5. Odds of winning

Chances are 1 in 13,436 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize in each draw. Actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold.

6. Winners

  • Winners will be contacted by phone by H4BC Hunt.Gather.Conserve. Society. You do not need to be present at the draw to win.
  • Winners consent to the release of their names by the licensee.
  • If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.

7. Delay in draw

If a draw cannot take place on the date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. Should a delay occur on draw day, every effort will be made to hold the draw as soon as possible. If an alternate day is needed, it will be announced after approval by BC’s Independent Gambling Control Office, all ticket purchasers will be notified by email, and the amended date and time will be posted on tickets.northiscalling.ca.

8. Privacy

9. Refunds and complaints

To ask about a refund or make a complaint, email the raffle administrators at secretary@huntersforbc.ca. Administrators will review every complaint and take action if necessary.
